Scotland’s hydrogen funding: EIR release

A detailed breakdown of the hydrogen projects supported under the £3.4 million funding package announced on 1 May 2025 for "Scotland’s hydrogen future," as referenced in the Scottish Government news article available at: https://www.gov.scot/news/3-4-million-for-scotlands-hydrogen-future/

Specifically:

• The project scope or description (if available), including whether the projects relate to hydrogen production, refuelling infrastructure, mobility applications, or other uses.
• Any documents or public reports that provide further context or implementation details of these projects.
• Where to refer for other funding projects regarding hydrogen in Scotland

I have attached some of the information you have asked for.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested regarding project scopes/description and documents providing further context or implementation details of these projects. Our Enterprise agency Scottish Enterprise has been managing the funding package on behalf of the Scottish Government and will be able to assist further. Therefore we are refusing your request under the exception at regulation 10(4)(a) of the EIRs. The reasons why that exception applies are explained below/in the Annex to this letter.
