1. Details of any working groups set up to consider the issue and their membership.
2. Working papers, meeting minutes, briefings, papers and agendas for any relevant groups in the last six months.
Response
In relation to your request, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested. Exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA apply to some of the information requested, as it relates to personal data of a third party.
In relation to part 1 of your request, the NHS Productivity and Efficiency Group was established in January 2025 and was set up as new strategic approach across NHS Scotland in terms of productivity and efficiency, to support the implementation and assurance of productivity and efficiency at an NHS Scotland level as a core part of the Reform approach.
The group was been commissioned by the NHS Scotland Executive Group and is the key group for productivity and efficiency across NHS Scotland, with an aim to enhance health and care services, and improve patient outcomes.

In relation to part 2 of your request, please find 17 documents attached separately to this reply, which detail working papers, meeting minutes (notes), briefings, papers and agendas for the NHS Productivity and Efficiency Group within the past six months. Please note:
- There are no minutes or actions from the mobilisation meeting in December 2024, as the Group did not formally establish until January 2025.
- The group meeting in March 2025 was cancelled and no papers or minutes were issued or taken.
- At the time of issuing a response to this FOI request, the group meeting in May has not taken place, so only the agenda and papers are available.
