Remediable Service Statement (RSS) Retired Officer letters: FOI release

Information requested

Through March 2025, to the deadline, it appears the SPPA’s focus was to prepare and dispatch as many RSS letters to those officers who had suffered no financial detriment. If this is not the case you can furnish me under an FOI request with the breakdown of the number of RSS letters sent during the month of March 2025, across each of the “Member Class“ categories which you set out in SPPA circular 2025/04.

Response

For the Police scheme, during March 2025, the SPPA only issued RSS to protected members. A total of 2,687 RSS were issued.
