Scottish Dental Association (SDA) Involvement in Dental Clinical Guidance and Policy Development: FOI release

Information requested

I am seeking access to information held by the Office of the Chief Dental Officer (Scotland) relating to interactions with the Scottish Dental Association (SDA) (available at https://thescottishdentalassociation.co.uk) for the period from 1 January 2020 to the present.

Specifically, I request copies of:

1. Any email or written correspondence between officials within the Chief Dental Officer’s office and representatives of the SDA.

2. Any meeting minutes, agendas, or internal briefings referencing SDA input into:

• Dental clinical guidelines or standards
• NHS dental service reforms
• Oral health improvement strategies
• Stakeholder consultations relating to dentistry or oral healthcare

3. Any submissions, commentary, or consultation responses provided by the SDA relating to dental clinical effectiveness, NHS dental services, or policy reforms.

4. Any internal documents analyzing or summarizing SDA feedback or involvement in dental clinical or service policy.​​​​​​​
