Information requested
All briefing materials prepared for Kate Forbes ahead of the Deputy First Minister’s meeting with business executives on 25 April 2025, along with any notes/minutes recording what was discussed at the meeting, and a full list of who attended the meeting.
Response
I have included copies of some of the information you have requested in the attached documents.
For clarification, the event in question was a conference held at the Scottish Parliament and due to the nature of the event no meeting notes were taken.

An exemption under section(s) 38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. This exemption applies to personal data relating to third parties. This exemption is not subject to the ‘public interest test’, so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
