Scottish Ministers usage of ChatGPT: FOI Review

Please can the Scottish Government provide a list of all search queries made by Scottish ministers to ChatGPT since the start of 2024. This should include the name of the minister who made the search, the title of the search, the question asked to ChatGPT, and its response.

It would be good if the SG can make every effort to provide all of this information, however if providing this information for all ministers exceeds the cost threshold, please provide details just for the first minister, deputy first minister, finance and local government secretary and secretary for net zero and energy.

I'd like this information as electronic copies to the above email address.

You asked for clarification on two points from the previous response to 202500457224. Firstly, you requested the total number of access requests made to ChatGPT by Scottish Ministers from Scottish Government IT devices. Secondly, you requested the information from ChatGPT accounts created by Scottish Ministers from Scottish Government IT devices. 

The total number of logged access requests to ChatGPT by Scottish Ministers from Scottish Government-managed IT devices is zero for the time period covered in the original request(202500 457224). Note that access logs for these devices are retained for analysis for six months.

As there are zero logged access requests to ChatGPT by Scottish Ministers from Scottish Government-managed IT devices, the request for data stored within ChatGPT accounts created and used by Scottish Ministers cannot be fulfilled.
