Police Scotland staff diversity groups that receive Scottish Government funding: FOI release

Information requested

Details of all Police Scotland diversity staff groups/associations that receive Scottish Government funding, and the amount allocated to each group/association in each of the last five financial years. For the same period, please provide details of all meetings between the groups listed in the above response, and the Scottish Government/Scottish Ministers.

Response

The Scottish Government provided grant funding to four Police Scotland diversity staff associations in each of the last five financial years. These are:

1. The Scottish LGBTI Police Staff Association (LGBTI staff association)
2. Supporting Ethnic Minority Police employees for Equality in Race Scotland (SEMPER Scotland)
3. Scottish Police Muslim Association (SPMA)
4. Scottish Women’s Development Forum (SWDF)

The table below shows how much funding Police Scotland’s diversity staff associations were allocated over the last 5 financial years.
