Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
The following information:
"Every time I log on to X, I got an advertisement from the AMEY NE Trunk Roads account, telling me about roadworks happening in the north-east of Scotland.
In each of the last two years, please tell me how much you have spent on social-media advertising of roadworks in the north-east of Scotland.
Please provide a breakdown of spend for each platform (X, Facebook, Instagram, etc).
Please also provide a list of each individual roadworks project you have advertised.
(The last one I was was for the A96 Clinterty and Kinellar Roundabouts one but there have been a lot)."
On 19 November you clarified that you required the information for Amey North East for the financial years 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 to date 18 November (the date of your request).

The following table provides a breakdown of Ameys Social Media Spend on advertising of roadworks in the north-east of Scotland for the financial years requested. Please note the 2022/23 data is from 16 August 2022 onwards, when Amey commenced the NE NMC contract.
