Information requested
You asked for Transport Scotland to confirm for the last five years how many parking tickets, speeding tickets and tickets for being in a bus lane have been issued for the government car service and Transport Scotland vehicles.
Response
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Transport Scotland does not have some of the the information you have requested. Transport Scotland does not have information for the full 5 years due to data retention policies. The information provided is from 2021 until present. This is formal notice under section 17 Information not held, that Transport Scotland does not hold information prior to 2021.
On that basis the answer to your question is detailed below. As per Scottish Government policy, any invoice for fines or penalties are paid by the individual who was driving and not Scottish Government. All fines detailed below were paid directly by the driver.
