Please could Scottish Forestry clarify if they have received in the last ten years from the current or previous owners (or their agents) any applications for woodland creation schemes on this land . Please could you clarify if the current or previous owners have ever enquired as to the suitability or feasibility of this area of land being used for forestry, even if no formal application was made.
If there is any correspondence or information relating to prospective grants or permissions in relation to the above area of land from the owners or agents (past and present), please could Scottish Forestry provide this correspondence and any information pertaining to prospective grants or permissions.

Yes, we can confirm that we have received an application within the last 10 years from the current landowner for a woodland creation scheme, ref: 22FGS68327
2. Please could you clarify if the current or previous owners have ever enquired as to the suitability or feasibility of this area of land being used for forestry, even if no formal application was made.
Yes, we can confirm that the current owner have enquired as to the suitability or feasibility of this area of land being used for forestry.
3. If there is any correspondence or information relating to prospective grants or permissions in relation to the above area of land from the owners or agents (past and present), please could Scottish Forestry provide this correspondence and any information pertaining to prospective grants or permissions.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exception under regulation 11(2) of the EIRs (personal data relating to a third party) applies to some of the information you have requested. This information has been redacted in the requested correspondence.
In addition, an exception under regulation 10 (5) (g) of the EIRs (protection of the environment) applies to some of the information requested because it would make public the locations of nesting / breeding sites of protected species. Information redacted under this exception has been marked accordingly in the supplied documentation.
