- How many premises have so far been connected through the R100 broadband scheme broken down by north, south and central lot?
- For the north lot, could this be broken down by constituency?
- Could you tell me the estimated number of properties which are still left to be connected?
Response
- How many premises have so far been connected through the R100 broadband scheme broken down by north, south and central lot?
As at 31st January 2024, the total number of premises that have been connected through the three R100 contracts is 36,689, broken down by lot as follows:
North: 10,696
Central: 12,788
South: 13,205
Additionally, as at 1st February 2024, the total number of premises that have been connected through the R100 Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme (R100 SBVS) is 3,769, broken down by lot as follows:
North: 2,337
Central: 914
South: 518
It should also be noted that, alongside the connections delivered through the R100 connections, there have also been a significant number of non-contractual ‘overspill’ connections delivered – 10,238 in total, broken down by lot as follows:
North: 2,860
Central: 3,866
South: 3,512

As at 31st January 2024, the number of properties which are still expected to be connected through the R100 contracts are:
North: 50,068
Central: 19,428
South: 8,684
As R100 SBVS is a demand led scheme, it is not possible to provide the number of properties that could be connected through utilization of vouchers.
