The following information in relation to the Hill of Fare wind farm project in Aberdeenshire:

1. How many representations have been received by the Energy Consents Unit (ECU) by 2 February 2024?

2. Of these, how many representations have been received from members of the public and community organisations?

3. Of these, how many Object to the application and how many Support the application?

4. Does the ECU intend to publish all representations on their website and if so, by when?

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. We cannot provide information up to 2nd February 2024 as we do not hold it. We have provided information up to 27th January 2024.

1. 1,149.

2. 1,146 from members of the public. 3 from organisations.

3. 1,124 object and 25 support.

4. The Energy Consents Unit endeavours to publish all representations on their website. The Energy Consents Unit does not have a target timescale for logging representations.

Representations may be made to the Scottish Ministers in line with statutory timeframes set out in public notices, which require to be given in accordance with applicable regulations.

Representations are managed such that the material issues raised within are always taken into account before any decision is taken by Scottish Ministers.
