Information requested
Historical data that shows the number of homicides per year in Glasgow. Hopefully starting from the year 1991 (or if not, the oldest possible) to the current year.
Response
I enclose a copy of the information you requested. We hold statistics on homicides recorded within the Glasgow City local authority area back to 1996. We do not hold the equivalent information for earlier years as the unitary local government area of Glasgow City was created on the 1st April 1996, and the data we have cannot be retrospectively assigned to the same geographic area.
