Scottish Government departments using AI: FOI release

Information requested

I would like to know the Scottish Government departments using AI and the ways in which they are doing so.

I would like the information to be broken down on a departmental basis with a brief summary of the tasks AI is being used to complete, or assist.

I enclose a copy of the information you requested in a table format, ordered by the Directorate/Team who are responsible for the AI use case.

You should also be aware that within the Scottish Government we make use of AI to support personal use of assistive technology tools, like screen readers and transcription tools etc., but as these are generally used on a personal basis I have not listed each use case and have instead included a single reference covering this element.
