Peel Ports payments and correspondence regarding Ardrossan Ferry Service transfer: FOI release

Information requested

Please find below two requests which I wish to be treated as two separate Freedom of Information Requests under the relevant act:

1. An Itemised breakdown of payments made to Peel Ports between 2017 and the date of this request
2. All communication between Transport Scotland and Associated British Ports in relation to the transfer of the Ardrossan Ferry Service to Troon.

Response

Under exemption 25(1) of the FOI Scotland Act 2002 we are not obliged to provide information which is already otherwise accessible and within the public domain, and would therefore refer you to the following in regards to Question 1: An Itemised breakdown of payments made to Peel Ports between 2017 and the date of this request

On Question 2: All communication between Transport Scotland and Associated British Ports in relation to the transfer of the Ardrossan Ferry Service to Troon.

We have conducted a search of our records and identified information within the scope of your request which is detailed in Annex A to this letter. Some information has been withheld as this is covered under exemption 30 (b)(ii) Substantional inhibition to free and frank exchange of views; and 38(1)(b) third party personal data.
