Information request and response under the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004

Information requested

I would like to request under the freedom of information act the following information and what stage if there is remedial works to be carried out to each building affected . Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete was used in construction of government owned buildings including Educational building , NHS, Fire & Police services.

Response

Scottish Government has not been able to identify anywhere in the Scottish Government core estate where reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete has been used. As a result, there is no remedial work planned or required to fix it.

Scottish Government does not hold information relating to property condition data for Police Scotland, NHS Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue or on behalf of Local Authorities for the school estate. Direct requests would need to be made to the various organisations.
