Information requested

Salmonid catch records for the two glenelg rivers, Glenmhor and Glenbeag for the last 30 years.

Response

We hold electronic data from 1986 and have provided the earlier years' data as a courtesy, since we will also be releasing this data in response to another current request.

I attach a copy of most of the information you requested. Some of the information you have requested (catches for 2017-2021) was published as Official Statistics on 1st June 2022 and is available from https://data.marine.gov.scot/dataset/salmon-rod-fishery-statistics-2017-2021-reportedcatch-assessment-area. Under regulation 6(1)(b) of the EIRs, we do not have to give you information which is already publicly available and easily accessible to you in another form or format. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
