For the Client Manager campaign, 41 candidates that received an offer were from the Client Manager reserve list. For the Team Manager campaign, all of the candidates who passed interview were initially placed on a reserve list and Social Security Scotland then made 6 successful candidates an offer.

Where we have a reserve list, we will exhaust this within the agreed time limit ahead of running further recruitments for the same post. Please note that not everyone who is offered a post will take this up, we will continue to work through the reserve list until all current vacancies have been filled. Reserve lists also help us manage staff turnover. Recruitment policy requires us to have a time limit on reserve lists and where we plan to use a reserve we advise candidates of this clearly in the advert and also when notifying them of an outcome.

Candidates offered a place on a reserve list are informed that this is not a guarantee of a future offer of a post and we are unable to state the likelihood of any further offers that are to be made at this time. Social Security Scotland will continue to monitor and assess staffing needs and will utilise reserve lists when and if required.
