"Following the Inner House decision on For Women Scotland v LA and Scottish Ministers I note that the unlawful definition of "woman" has not yet been removed from Section 2 of the Gender Representation on Public Boards (Scotland) Act:

Could you please tell me what steps the Scottish Government has taken to date to amend the Act in line with the court ruling?"

I can confirm that the Scottish Government intends to remove the section 2 definition of "woman" from the face of the 2018 Act once a suitable legislative vehicle has been found.
