Information requested
Under the lease provide the same information attached provided in response the following FOI here as at 3 March 2022.
The spreadsheet states āBuvidal* - For the Buvidal figures we need these currently receiving treatment as there may be no depots administered on the day of the snapshot as Buvidal is not a daily treatment.ā
Iām unclear on what this statement means. As part of the response please can you provide further information on this point so that I have a full understanding on this point.
Response
Buvidal is not a daily treatment, like other Opioid Substitutions offered by the NHS. NHS Scotland asks those administering the service to report on the number of people receiving treatment on each day. Therefore, the Buvidal figure represents the number of patients who have an active depot injection in their arm on each reporting day.
