Can you provide me the date that section 9 of the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 will be legally binding?

Can you provide me the date of when the commencement order will be for section 9 of disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020?

Response

Scottish Government do not have a date for the commencement order covering section 9 of the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 being laid before the Scottish Parliament. The commencement order will set out the day appointed for the coming into force of that provision of the Act.

Disclosure Scotland’s Corporate Strategy and Plan shows that "disclosure content review for Level 2 disclosures" is targeted for delivery in 2023.
