Information pertaining to the Aviation Working Group: FOI release
Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
Information requested
1. The date, time, location, attendance list, minutes, notes, agendas, handouts, presentations or memos for any meeting of the aviation working group announced by then Transport minister Michael Matheson in February, 2021.
2. Any correspondence within the Scottish Government between ministers, ministerial offices, special advisers, officials, and third party stakeholders on the working group on the topic of the aviation working group between January 1, 2021 and the date of this request. This should include but not be limited to emails, letters, OneNote messages, WhatsApp messages or correspondence sent using other instant messaging services or text message.
3. A full list of members of the working group, including when they were appointed to it, removed or quit.
Response
1. I attch a copy of some of the information you requested.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under section 38(1)(b) (Personal Details) of FOISA applies to that information. The reason why this exemption applies is explained in the Annex to this letter.

The reason why this exemption applies is explained in the Annex.
3. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested. The reasons why we don’t have the information are explained in the Annex.
