Copies of any and all letter and email communications between the members of the Scottish Government (or those civil servants, or any advisors, or any special advisors, acting on their behalf) listed below and any officers, directors or volunteers of the charity Nil By Mouth (https://nilbymouth.org/) dated between 1st January 2021 and 20th May 2021 inclusive. Ministers:

  • The First Minister
  • The Deputy First Minister
  • Cabinet Secretary for Justice
  • Minister for Public Health, Women's Health and Sport
  • The Lord Advocate

I attach a copy of most of the information you requested.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under sections 29(1)(a) (policy formulation), s.30(b) (free and frank exchange), s.36(2) (confidentiality), and. s.38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA apply to that information. The reasons why these exemptions apply are explained in the Annex to this letter.
