Transport Scotland grant payments to Sustrans: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

Are Scotland the only ones funding Sustrans and how much money do Scotland get back for this?

Response

The Scottish Government is not involved in the management of Sustrans as an organisation - Sustrans Scotland is grant funded by Transport Scotland to deliver infrastructure and behavioural change programmes. The Scottish Government therefore holds no information on Sustrans’ approach to securing funding from other sources.

The Scottish Government receives no money from Sustrans - all grants are fully allocated to infrastructure and behaviour change projects.
