*Transport Scotland define the annual contract as the value of Transport Scotland franchise subsidy, passenger revenue and other revenues as recognised in the Abellio ScotRail audited financial statements.
*The subsidy value includes an element of pass through funding which is paid to Abellio ScotRail and then subsequently paid to Network Rail. This value is determined by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) Final Determination.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government cannot yet provide this information you have requested. Forecasts are not available and will not be available until September 2021. This will be published in January 2022 on the Scottish Government website. The annual budget for financial year 2022/23 will not be confirmed until 2022.
