1. Do you currently have any AI enabled chatbots engaging with Citizens directly? If not, do you intend to introduce this in the next 12 months?

2. Do you currently have a live webchat to engage with Citizens live on your website? If not, do you intend to introduce this in the next 12 months?

In answer to your request:

1. We don’t currently have AI enabled Chatbots directly engaging with citizens and there are no plans at present to introduce them in the next 12 months.

2. There is currently no live web chat on our core government websites and there are no plans at present to introduce one in the next 12 months. There is a live chat service on the Social Security Scotland website which can be found on https://chat.socialsecurity.gov.scot/.
