For the last 5 years:

The number of individuals who have experienced rough sleeping broken down by year (presented by an annual or financial year).

Response

The Scottish Government does not collect data on the number of individuals who experience rough sleeping in Scotland.

It does however collect data on the number of households who made a homeless application to their local authority that had a household member who experienced rough sleeping either the night before their application or in the three months prior to their application. The most recent data, covering the period up to 31st March 2020, was published on the 27th August 2020 and is available at the following address:
