Regarding addressing financial parity of the Infected Blood Support Schemes:

1. Have there been any further discussions and/or meetings with Cabinet Office officials since 26 August 2020? If, so, when did these meetings take place?

2. Has the Paymaster General Penny Mordaunt MP been involved in these discussions and/or meetings?

3. Have Cabinet Office officials advised during these recent discussions and/or meetings any obstacles in implementing financial parity?

Response

The answers to your questions are as follows:

1. Have there been any further discussions &/or meetings with Cabinet Office officials since 26 August 2020? If, so, when did these meetings take place?
The Scottish Government has met Cabinet Office and the other UK administrations on 23 September, 21 October and 18 November.

2. Has the Paymaster General Penny Mordaunt MP been involved in these discussions &/or meetings?
Paymaster General Penny Mordaunt MP was not in attendance at these meetings.

3. Have Cabinet Office officials advised during these recent discussions &/or meetings any obstacles in implementing financial parity?
We do not have any record of Cabinet Office officials identifying obstacles in implementing financial  parity.
