Response

I attach a copy of the information you requested at ANNEX A. I have put the documents and emails in to a table. I have redacted the names and telephone numbers of staff members below Deputy Director level.

The reasons why these exemptions apply are explained in ANNEX B to this letter.

I have provided information from an email from COP26 CEO Peter Hill to DG Economy Liz Ditchburn dated 16 January and information from a reply from 29 January 2020 in the form of an extract as the remainder of this letter does not relate to the hiring of the Glasgow Science Centre during COP26.
I have provided information from a letter from the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, the Rt, Hon Michael Gove MP to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Economy and Fair work dated 22 January in the form of an extract as the remainder of the letter does not relate to the hiring of the Glasgow Science Centre during COP26.
Some of the information you have requested is available from https://news.gov.scot/resources/letter-to-pm-on-cop26 Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you.
