- For the last 3 years, on average, how long has disciplinary action taken against staff taken from start to finish.
- I.e, how long (in months) from the date a member of staff receives an investigation letter to the point where they receive an outcome following a disciplinary hearing.
- On average, how long does that process take?
Response
Our response to your request has been completed on the same basis as your earlier FOI (FOI/19/02276) – that is, it covers permanent staff employed in SG Main. The annex to this letter shows the business areas included in this reply.
In the last 3 years, the average time taken from the date a member of staff receives an investigation letter to the point where they receive an outcome following a disciplinary hearing is just over 5 months. The median for this question is 4 months.
