You asked for “Any correspondence (letters, emails or otherwise) (a) received and (b) sent by Kate Forbes regarding the delay to R100”.
Response
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide all the information you have requested because an exemption(s) under section s.33(1)(b) (substantial prejudice to commercial interests) of FOISA applies to that information. The reasons why that exemption applies are explained in the Annex to this letter.
An additional exemption under s.25(1) (information otherwise accessible) applies to the remainder of the information as it can be found online. However, in support of our duty to provide advice and assistance to the applicant we are able to provide two documents:
1) A Media Digest email from 8 June 2019, which references a number of media reports on the extension to the Reaching 100% procurement timeline and the effects this could have on the manifesto commitment to deliver 100% superfast broadband access by 2021.
2) A Media Digest email from 12 June 2019, which references further reports on the procurement timeline extension.
