Information requested

 

Under FOISA, please provide all the reports and formal communications provided to the Director of Social Security by the Social Security Scotland Advisory Board since the Social Security Scotland agency was set up in 2018.

Response

 

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested. The reasons why we don’t have the information are explained in the Annex to this letter.

REASONS FOR NOT PROVIDING INFORMATION


The Scottish Government does not have the information.

The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because the Executive Advisory Body does not report to, or have formal communications with, the Director of Social Security. The Executive Advisory Body was set up to provide constructive challenge and advice to the Chief Executive of Social Security and the leadership team.
This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
