What communications have been made between Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Government about my request, FOl/19/00074

Response

 

I have attached at Annex A email exchanges between Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Government regarding your previous Freedom of Information request, FOl/19/00074, which took place between 6 November 2018 and 8 January 2018.

I have attached at Annex B exchanges which took place on 15 November 2018. Please note that Scottish Enterprise is Scotland's national economic development agency and a non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government , and officials in both organisations work together and share information on a regular basis.

 

An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA (personal information) applies to some of the information requested because it is personal data of a third party, ie names and contact details of individuals, and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5 of the General Data Protection Regulation. This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption .
