The New Children's Hospital in Glasgow are currently checking and replacing external cladding. Is this Cladding the same as the cladding used in Grenfell?

Response

As part of the forensic checks across all buildings, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde had identified a type of Aluminium Composite Material on parts of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital of a similar type to, but not the same as, the material used at Grenfell Tower. To ensure full public confidence in the hospital NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has decided to remove these panels as a precautionary measure.
