You asked for details of how much private investment has been leveraged by the Scottish European Growth Co-investment Fund in the last three years.

Response

The Scottish European Growth Co-investment Fund, delivered by the European Investment Fund (EIF) under an agreement with Scottish Enterprise (SE) opened in June 2017. The £50m commitment from the Scottish Government through the Scottish Growth Scheme matches a £50m commitment from the EIF.  This is in turn will be matched by at least £100m from EIF accredited Fund Managers.  Investment to date of £2m (£0.5m provided by Scottish Enterprise, £0.5m from the European Investment Fund together with £1m from the EIF accredited Fund Manager) leveraged £.5m from private sector investors.
