Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

FOI reference: FOI/18/02481
Date received: 12 September 2018
Date responded: 28 September 2018

Information requested

Details of any money delivered to companies from the SME Holding Fund. Information should include the number of companies who received funding and the total amount those companies received.

Response

The SME Holding Fund (which is part funded under the European Regional Development Fund) does not give money directly to companies. The resources are disbursed through procured delivery partners who provide the funding directly to SMEs. Information on performance was published in March 2018, at that time the delivery partners confirmed that 330 companies  had received £223m. Link as follows:

An updated report will be published in March 2019.
