Response

With regard to specific questions:

  • The Scottish Government has committed £50 million to the Fund between 1 April 2018 and 31 March 2022 – http://www.gov.scot/Resource/0053/00533606.pdf outlines how this fund will be invested.

  • No payments have been made through the fund to date and as such there are no payees.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under section s.38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information. The reason why that exemption applies is explained below.

An exemption under section s.38(1) of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. This is because the name and contact details of officials is their own personal information and cannot be released. This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
