'Any and all correspondence preceding the date the information is released to me which discusses my request, such as the discussion between special advisers or government officials about the handling of this request.'

I enclose a copy of all of the information you requested.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under section s.38(1)(a) (your name) and s.38(1)(a) (personal information) (names and contact details of staff) of FOISA apply to that information.

This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
