A time series of Scotland statistics from 2011 to 2016 on:
The number of applications for contact made to the family court
The number of children that were involved in those applications for contact
The number of applications made for residence
The number of children that were involved in those applications for residence.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government is not able to provide some of the information you have requested.
In Scotland we publish residence and contact family court statistics by financial year (April to end of March the following year). Please see attached table with statistics from 2011-12 to 2015-16 which are available within our Civil Justice Statistics in Scotland bulletins:
