Q1. How much did the top 10 earning managers earn in the past financial year (2016-17)? Please indicate their (a) gender and (b) speciality. Please note that by "earnings" I do not want employer pension contributions included in the figure but want you to include basic pay and additional allowances, bonuses, merit awards etc.

Q2. If there is not a woman in the top 10 earning managers, please can you indicate the (a) speciality and (b) earnings of the top paid female managers in your trust? Please note that by "earnings" I do not want employer pension contributions included in the figure but want you to include basic pay and additional allowances, bonuses, merit awards etc.

Q3. The average earnings in the past financial year (2016-17) for (a) male and (b) female managers broken down by five-yearly age bands e.g. 25-30, 31-35, 36-40 (or whatever is possible) and (c) an average across all ages.

In answer to Q3 ,Q4, Q7 and Q8. Due to privacy considerations and the risk that staff may be identified, we do not release figures where there are less than six members of staff in each group. 5-year age bands have been used where possible for managers since there are sufficient staff in each group to do this. However, there are less engineers which has meant that some age groups have been combined in order to meet the confidentiality threshold.
