Information requested

Details of the number of tablet computers e.g. iPads supplied to:

• Scottish Government ministers;

• Scottish Government communications department staff; and

• Scottish Government special advisers;

Information should include the years 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17.

In order to ensure effective use of assets the Scottish Government has a 'One User, One Device' policy for all staff which provides one laptop or desktop not both.

Whilst our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. This information is not available for the years 2014-15 and 2015-16 as our asses register only records active assets and users.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
