Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
FOI reference: FOI/17/02245
Date received: 29 September 2017
Date responded: 2 November 2017
Information requested
I'm looking for a list of every secondment between 2013 and 2017.
I'd like to know which division they were based in, who they were seconded from, and how much the company from whom they were seconded were paid.
Response
Between 5 October 2013 and 5 October 2017, 55 individuals were seconded to the Scottish Government from companies. Secondees to the Scottish Government remain on their employers terms and conditions, including their pay scheme. As such, the Scottish Government does not pay employers for secondees, we re-imburse them for the salary costs they incur over the length of the secondment. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the costs of locating, retrieving and providing the exact cost of every secondee would exceed the upper cost limit of £600.
Your other requests are detailed at Annex A.
