Information requested

1. To make available any correspondence or information on meetings and minutes (from 2016 to present) on the subject of a) the introduction of 'drop off' charges for cars at Glasgow Airport and b) charging or otherwise for regular bus access to the Glasgow Airport site.

2. To make available any correspondence or information on meetings and minutes (from 2014 to present) on the subject of a) the introduction of 'drop off' charges for cars at Edinburgh Airport and b) charging or otherwise for regular bus access to the Edinburgh Airport site.

3. To make available any correspondence or information on meetings and minutes (from 2014 to present) on the subject of a) the introduction of 'drop off' charges for cars at Aberdeen Airport and b) charging or otherwise for regular bus access to the Aberdeen Airport site.

I enclose the information that you requested in relation to question 1(a). We have provided an extract as it was more appropriate to extract the text within the scope of your request from the document we hold where the rest of the information is outwith the scope. This is detailed below.

Extract from briefing – First Minister meeting with AGS Board Members – 3 July 2017:

1. The airport is in the process of making changes to the road network around the airport to ease congestion. From the end April 2017, a new combined quick pick-up/drop-off area came in to operation. The new fee introduced for dropping off is £2 for 10 minutes. As with other airports which have introduced drop-off fees, we expect the initial negative reaction to be short-lived.
