Warranty items/process update
Items are coming through from the chief engineering crew. Daily meetings now occur between CMAL and FMPG to discuss the warranty/guarantee process. A top priority list has been developed by CalMac for discussion at the meetings.
FMPG have to quantify the rest of the guarantee claims and agree dates of when they will be fixed.
Finance
FMPG are conducting a stock take and will interview CMAL/CalMac to discuss what has been used to date and what is still required for 802. FMPG reassured the group that this will not cause a delay to delivery.
SG queried the costing processes around the use of 802 parts for replacements on Glen Sannox. SG asked if these would be credited to the 802 costs and included as the warranty works or post completion works. FMPG confirmed this is being properly recorded and accounted for.
SG will pick up separately on the processes with FMPG finance as it was not something for the operational call but explained the importance of the costs being recorded to each vessel appropriately. SG highlighted the need for transparency and clear segregation of cost.
