Items and actions
Glen Sannox – deployment/warranty updates
Vessel performance updates
Glen Sannox was temporarily taken out of service due to a 1cm crack in the Hull. This was discovered on 14 March and the vessel was docked immediately in Brodick for the required repairs. The repairs were carried out on the Saturday morning and trials began early Sunday to prepare the vessel going back in to service.
Vibrating issues onboard the vessel were identified. FMPG have agreed for subcontractors to investigate this issue and provide a response to the yard. CalMac will identify external experts to board the vessel to review the issue and keep members informed. FMPG requested CalMac to provide additional detail on the vibration expert who is due to investigate from their side.
Full reports from subcontractors on the issue will be provided. FMPG requested CalMac’s once available.

Delivery programme update
FMPG were in the final stages of the draft plan, reviewing trades, dates, and resources. FMPG will engage with CMAL on the plan to ensure parties are content with delivery and costs. CMAL requested a rationale for how FMPG have come to an agreement on dates and costs within the plan.
The plan was sent to FMPG’s operations committee, questions are currently being addressed then the plan will be prepared for final sign off at the upcoming board.
A quarterly update is due to NZET committee for the end of March. The latest position will be provided to committee members.
