Glen Sannox – deployment / warranty updates

Vessel performance updates

CalMac confirmed the vessel has now arrived at Cammell Laird for its annual dry dock. The outcome of discussions today will confirm when the vessel will be removed from dry dock and returned to service.

A quotation plan was received from Cammell Laird and includes steel work repairs to mitigate the vibration issue alongside the agreed works that need to be complete in between. Works will be carried out over 24 hours of the day, condition included the crew being removed while the works were carried out.

When the vessel is out of dry dock, it will return to the Clyde with LNG being reinstalled. CalMac have confirmed flexibility with the operational schedule as a contingency for any delays.

Suggestion was made for CMAL, Fergusons and CalMac to review the quotation plan and provide any challenge on days/costs for works that could be reduced.

Glen Rosa – delivery and deployment 

GR delivery programme update

The build of MV Glen Rosa continued. SG met with Fergusons earlier to discuss the current build plan with the key areas of work ongoing. 

Regular project meetings are now in place between SG, Fergusons and CMAL to review the build plan to ensure delivery remains on track.

Contract amendments and handover paper will be dealt when the vessels nears completion.
