Work on certificate collation will remain ongoing until handover. 
Manuals are being prepared and shared digitally.

Close off – moved to compartment closures (A030) which includes OORs.

Work remains ongoing with this but no concerns. Handover to CalMac of all Spares – CalMac to confirm what they have received from FMPG so far.

SG consider and revert with the payment process for the support engineer. Business case is needed from CMAL to help accommodate this.

FMPG to send refreshed version of copy of cost process sign off for warranty
SG to discuss the payment mechanism.

A030 
There are 317 total compartments to be signed off with 102 signed off already. 
There are 45 systems sign off – 23 have been fully signed off and of the 22 needing to be done, 10 need further 3rd party input.
All compartment levels are sitting at approximately 95% closed off and being progress made daily.

FMPG to present details of close out rates by circulation in advance of next meeting. 

Classifications of close-out: 
Green – complete.
Amber – in progress. 
Red – to be signed off after sea trials (e.g. systems can’t be fully signed off until further trials). 

CMAL noted that there is a lot to be done in a short period of time as many of the more difficult compartments are being left to last. 

FMPG noted that work needs to be done in certain order in order to close them off. 
The most up-to-date high level critical path to delivery plan and the sea trial plan is to be shared across the workgroup.

A031 
CalMac have shared the shake-down plan with FMPG on 22 July – this is now to be incorporated into FMPG’s critical path to delivery. CalMac staff to come in on weekends to ensure essential works are completed. 

MCA certifications and trials and close-outs will need to be included into FMPG’s final schedule for completion.

Hot topics

LNG – LNG work has been resolved and LNG trials are to commence on 14 August. 
Vacuum into outer line and pressure testing to be done this week and this will close off LNG installation. 

Fuel bunkering planned for 06 August. No defined fallback for poor weather but will monitor this closer to the dates.

Captain and chief supplied by CalMac for sea trials – separate meeting with CalMac to discuss the certification and liability for the trials.

Inclining of 801 – weight of vessel and sailing conditions post the inclining test are to be considered between CMAL, CalMac, and FMPG. 

Any other business 

Comms for handover – we will discuss this and ensure alignment closer to the time between TS, CalMac, CMAL, FMPG, and SG. 

Weekly updates to ministers to be established between SG and TS – this is to be taken away as a separate action. Comms can be considered in alignment with these updates. 

CMAL noted that we are 4-weeks prior to handover and we will need to consider the crew arriving to the vessel and that there is a lot of work still to be done.
