Actions from previous meeting

CMAL reviewed a previous project with materials and equipment. CMAL would send over updated list with gaps to FMPG for review and action.

Final list of spares and costs were catalogued and continued to be regularly reviewed. 6 valves were received, FMPG would review and service the valves to be catalogued as spares.
A final updated list was required prior to handover on where the spares were located and confirmation they were handed over.
SCAD and TS tracked the list of spares on a separate tracker for 801 handover. TS were developing a list regarding who has paid for individual spares to agree if that should paid under the contract or CMAL/CalMac.

List and cost analysis for the process of warranty were required.
CalMac confirmed the date for dry dock was scheduled for 03/12-19/12 2024 as confirmed by preference with the community and requested by the Island Ferry Committee. CalMac requested to deploy the other shoot on the vessel to derisk the dry dock in December. 
The expiry of the warranty would fall under FY 25/26 rather than over 2 FY’s. SG and FMPG were to discuss the warranty process and cost of completion in further detail and agreed to report back at the next meeting.
On the delivery of the vessel, all lifesaving and firefighting equipment required 12 month certification. FMPG and CMAL agreed to discuss the costs further.

231 compartments were closed out of 317, 85 were still required to be closed. Machinery and stairs were ongoing, further updates were provided through daily correspondence. Critical compartments were being picked up after bunkering.
Generator room compartment snag out has begun. Sign off acquired that the generator was functional and compliant. Comments on the OR’s were provided to FMPG for costing on the warranty.
3 systems to be signed off and 1 on hailing to be proven functionally. 
HPAC system wouldn’t be signed off until owners trails alongside the chilled water systems.
AMS – [REDACTED] were fitting sprinklers in the 4 lift shafts. One was completed.

Shakedown plan has been provided. Agreed for the action to be closed. CalMac continued to update the shakedown plan on the latest delivery plan received.

Hot Topics    

Bunkering – LNG bunkering has now been completed. Special thanks to all involved was expressed. Communications around the completion were being drafted.
CMAL required a list of all of the open remarks. Various lists were currently available. FMPG and CMAL agreed to compile the lists together. 

List of post delivery items and costs associated were required for CMAL. The list required updating in case warranty was required. Issues on any of the delivery items required to be logged. SG needed further assurance from CMAL that none of the items were materialled to the contracts in terms of the specification. That was required for a mechanism for payment. SG and CMAL agreed to discuss further.

Closer to handover, CMAL required the bill of sale from FMPG.

A meeting occurred between CMAL and MCA. Items were still outstanding from MCA. A plan of approvals was drafted and CMAL would contact MCA to offer further support to FMPG. Updates were to be included in daily updates going forth.

CMAL agreed to provide a template for FMPG regarding the OR reporting system.

TS were leading on the briefing to Ministers on the 801 delivery. A figure for post-delivery capital costs was still required.
