*Premises classified as “not specified” are those which are unable to be connected currently due to issues beyond our control. This could be a wayleave for example. A wayleave is a contractual agreement between a landowner, landlord or other individual and a telecommunications provider like Openreach. In certain circumstances, a landowner may be required to give written permission to let Openreach access land or property before any work can take place. Sometimes this process can take longer than expected.
4. The contracts are delivered in phases determined by our contract delivery partner, Openreach. The R100 North contract will be the last contract to complete build with an expected completion date of March 2028. However, it is not possible for us to say with certainty which of the premises in that phase will be last to be connected as this will be determined by Openreach while they are building in that the area.
5. As of 14th November 2023, we have made the following contracted payments to Openreach for each of the three contracts:
- South - £51,421,877
- Central - £27,057,247
- North - £82,811,552
Based on the current levels of funding available in each of the three R100 contracts, the balances remaining – as of 14th November 2023 – are as follows:
- South - £80,682,442
- Central - £60,361,167
- North - £338,712,207
