A progress update on the crime and justice survey team's response to an OSR assessment report.
We have recently taken forward the steps outlined in our action plan (see below) to address requirements 1 and 3 detailed in the Office for Statistics Regulation's Assessment Report.
Requirement 1
We have published a summary of feedback received to our recent user consultation on future reporting and have sought to ensure this is sufficiently detailed, responds to all substantive proposals and provides a clear indication of any decisions taken and the rationale for them, including when no action has been taken.
Requirement 3
We have conducted and published a review (see below) of the resource committed to and available to the SCJS, in light of the range of current needs and future priorities for survey delivery and development, within the standards of the Code of Practice and the obligation within it to serve the public good. This considers the process used for planning work and for prioritising required work within the SCJS team and the wider analytical unit.
